We were a group of four Italians who had specifically requested a classic Italian-built yacht for our Dubrovnik day charter, and the Itama 45 surpassed every expectation. The hull lines are exquisite — she sits in the water the way only a properly designed open dayboat can. At cruising speed the ride is dry and smooth, and at anchor the wide deck provides all the sunbathing space you could wish for. Our skipper had clearly been navigating these waters for decades and took us to places far off the standard tourist trail. The entire experience felt intimate and personal rather than off-the-shelf. For anyone who appreciates design and quality on the water, the Itama 45 in Dubrovnik is an exceptional choice.

Itama 45 — classic yacht, exceptional day on the water

Six of us chartered the Itama 45 to mark a significant birthday, and it was the perfect choice for the occasion. The open-deck layout means everyone can see and socialise at the same time, and the wide sunpad aft is genuinely large enough for the whole group to relax on simultaneously. At speed she is remarkable — the Itama hull was designed for exactly these blue Adriatic waters and it shows. Our skipper was immensely knowledgeable about the coastline, found us an isolated cove for a two-hour swimming stop, and recommended an excellent restaurant on Šipan that none of us would have found otherwise. Drinks were cold, snorkelling gear was provided, and the whole day felt effortlessly well organised. Wonderful experience.

The Itama 45 — Italian elegance on the Adriatic

We chartered the Itama 45 for a full day exploring the coastline south of Dubrovnik and words simply do not do justice to how beautiful this boat is. The classic open-yacht design — clean Italian lines, a wide aft sunpad, and an uncluttered deck — draws compliments at every harbour. She moves through the water with a silky confidence that only comes from a genuinely well-engineered hull. Our skipper was superb: he knew every anchorage between Dubrovnik and Pelješac and took us to an extraordinary sea-arch formation on a small island that I have since been unable to find in any guidebook. The Itama 45 is in a class of her own for a day charter in Dubrovnik. Utterly unforgettable.
