Gorgeous structure with a stunning view to all directions of Split - Worth the fee and climb up
We got the ticket package that grants access to all 5 sights at the Diocletian's Palace, one of them was for the bell tower. It is expected that the staircase up/down would be very narrow and uneven. The main entrance is by the cathedral, near awesome columns and an ornate door. The time we visited there were just a handful of visitors. Not sure how this would work during peak season. Some places are single file required, with very steep steps and super low clearance! Definitely need to mind your head. Once you get up to the top, you are rewarded with absolutely gorgeous views to all directions of Split. We especially enjoyed the Riva Harbor sea view. So beautiful.
