Professional drive and Entertaining Person!

Robert was recommended by friends who used his services when they visited Dubrovnik so we hired him for a day trip to Kotor in Montenegro. He was a nonstop fountain of information and answered all our questions with his own life experiences and strong opinions. We had fun and enjoyed our day. We also hired him to drive us to the Split airport and were very satisfied. His prices are reasonable given the service he provides.

Excellent wine and oyster tour experience

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the wine and oyster tour. Robert first drove us to some great vistas around Dubrovnik to get social-media-worthy pictures. He's a good cell phone photographer, btw. We stopped in Ston for a bit with a chance to visit local shops and learn the history of the salt flats. Then he drove us to the Peljesac Peninsula (like Croatia's Napa Valley), taking us to two wineries, with intermingled stops for fresh-out-of-the-water oysters and bubbly as well as lunch at an excellent family-run restaurant on the coast. Loved the wines, especially at Milos Winery. Robert is an excellent driver, historian, and conversationalist. This day trip is a great addition to a stay in Dubrovnik.

Robert and Akra Travel was great and allows one to use Dubrovnik as a base of travel.

My wife and I decided to have an extended 10 day trip with Dubrovnik as our home base this month. I had many concerns about our plan (too many tourists, not enough activities etc etc). And the part about a lot of cruise ship tour group tourists during the day was true but at night the crowds thinned out a bit and Dubrovnik was magical. The secret weapon with this plan was Akra Travel with Robert Andusic. We used Akra for our airport transfers and took all three of the tours— Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina (Mostar), and the costal wine tour. All were enjoyable, Robert was a great tour guide as well as a skillful safe driver, photographer and conversationalist. We would also add that if there is an equivalence of the Michelin star in restaurant culinary for a comprehensive tour guide, Robert would belong to that category. Akra Travel and using the old city of Dubrovnik as an extended base worked for us.

Informative and fun tour of Dubrovnik and surrounding attractions

Robi is a phenomenal tour guide. He expertly drove us through Dubrovnik to Ston and the Peljesac peninsula. Robi’s hospitality makes him feel like part of the family, like a long lost cousin. He was very flexible with our itinerary and was more than willing to make adjustments in advance and along the way. 10/10 would recommend

Wonderful private tour!

Wonderful private tour with Robert to the Bay of Kotor! Robert was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. We loved the boat tour in the Bay and being able to wander around Old Town Kotor. I would highly recommend!
