Very pleasant surprise

Pros: So much nicer than the website photos. Very pleasantly surprised. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable- I think they all face the ocean. Breakfast is lovely with great selections - could have sat all day on the terrace. Private little beach with deck (a little small) and beach chairs- very attentive staff. Easy walk downhill to town. I bought the Dubrovnik pass for one day which includes free bus pass- getting Ubers can be challenging in town so happily hopped onto the 4 bus which stopped steps away from the hotel (1st stop). Cons Very small safe. Can’t think of anything else at the moment.

Beautiful Adriatic Luxury

The room and property were gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and linens were soft. The hotel has free valet parking and is an easy walk to Old Town.

Simply the Best

This wonderful, stylish hotel is just 10 min walk from the gate of the old city., or 15min. if you are old and slow like me, Our room was bright and modern. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the balcony spectacular. Housekeeping scores 10/10. Breakfast was probably the best we have had in any hotel. There was an extensive buffet and a menu from which to choose dishes cooked to order. Those dishes were executed to perfection! Wonderful staff: polite, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask. I would like to make particular mention of Parvo, who works in the Spice Bar. This flamboyant ambassador for local wines turned an evening drink into a cabaret. Well done Parvo! I hope to meet again when we return.

Five stars, but with a caveat!

My wife and I stayed here for four nights last month, in a superb superior room with sea-view and balcony. The breakfast each morning was just perfect for us - with the freshly cooked omelettes being particularly noteworthy. We dined for two or the evenings in the hotel’s Vapor restaurant and the food and service was excellent - as was the service and attention to detail throughout the entire hotel. However, our one disappointment was the extortionate drinks prices - even by Dubrovnik standards. Wine - of a similar quality served at local restaurants - was almost double the price, with drinks from the bar not much better. We really enjoyed our afternoons spent laying comfortably on the sun-terrace situated just above the small beach, but on one of our drinks purchases were charged 22.5 euros for a small (30ml) Pernod with sprite and a 1/2 litre beer! Sad, as we otherwise we loved our stay at this beautiful, well-positioned hotel and would thoroughly recommend, if you don’t mind paying over the top for refreshments.

A very special thank you to Petra and Mihael at the front desk — they went above and beyond to help us locate our lost luggage, calling the airport repeatedly until everything was finally found. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication made a huge difference in our trip. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing — everything fresh, beautifully presented, and served by a friendly and attentive team. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from the Old Town, yet perfectly peaceful and elegant. Every detail at the Bellevue was flawless. The service, comfort, and atmosphere exceeded all expectations. Everything was just perfect!
