#20 of 91 hotels in Dubrovnik according to Tripadvisor travelers as of March 2026

Situated on the beautiful peninsula of Lapad, the hotel's dramatic cliffside location, below the aromatic, pine-covered Petka woods, affords spectacular views in every direction. Fully renovated in 2014, each of the 308 contemporary rooms and suites all have private balconies and beautiful sea views. Great food and excellent service prevail. During your stay, you will be tempted to try out everything that is on offer: four swimming pools, one of which is indoors, hotel beach, tennis courts, fabulous snorkeling and a PADI diving centre, as well as a leafy jogging path and walking routes through the woods behind the hotel.

Prime Location

The Hotel Dubrovnik Palace is in a prime location right on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. We had a quite large room on the ground floor and it was very comfortable. We made very good use of the sea side pools.

Stunning views, great for swimmers/divers, Awesome service

First of all- the access to the Adriatic here is STUNNING- I wanted so badly to swim in this sea and not only did it have great access but there was a store there, conveniently where I bought a pair of goggles to see the beautiful fish, even a starfish! The other awesome piece of this place for me was the service - especially Ardin- he was super sweet and welcoming to my mom and I - he made us both feel right at home- he made our visit to this hotel more than just a hotel stay but a place where we both would come back to in a heartbeat.

Five Star

We had a great stay here. The hotel is in a good location since it's right on the water. There's many places to enjoy the sea views and the beauty of the location. Our room had a balcony where we could see the Elaphiti Islands and watch the sunset. The pool's another great spot to see the sunsets. We went to he pool a few times. The water was colder than I liked. It would be nice to have the water heated. At the pool there are lots of lounge chairs available so it's an excellent spot to relax. Our room was just fine except the lighting. It was a bit dim and needed another light or 2 in the room. The bathroom on the other hand had very good lighting. During our stay here, we used the bus twice to get to old town Dubrovnik . It was easy to use and the bus stopped right by the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good with a large variety of foods to chose from.
