Cranchi E52 FLY — the finest day charter we have found in Croatia

My wife and I bring a group of close friends to Croatia each summer and have chartered boats here for six years. The Cranchi E52 FLY is the best boat we have found in that time. At 52 feet with a full flybridge, a large saloon, and four berths, she feels more like a private yacht than a day-charter boat. The quality of construction is immediately apparent: Cranchi builds to a standard that holds up perfectly in daily use, and after two seasons of charters this boat looks and feels practically new. Our skipper was exceptional — he anticipated needs before they were expressed, found a remarkable restaurant on Koločep for lunch, and navigated back into Dubrovnik harbour at precisely the right moment as the walls turned golden in the evening light.

The Cranchi E52 FLY — extraordinary space, speed, and refinement

Our group of eight had been looking for a Dubrovnik day charter that would genuinely accommodate everyone comfortably, and the Cranchi E52 FLY was the answer. The flybridge alone has more usable space than the entire deck of many smaller boats — three sunbeds, ample seating, and the elevated helm position giving the skipper complete command of the situation. The twin engines power this 52-footer with remarkable ease and the hull tracks steadily in even a light swell. We made three island stops across a long day, with the longest swimming session at a completely isolated cove on Šipan that had perhaps half a dozen people on the beach. The catering and drinks service was excellent throughout. Highly recommended for groups wanting genuine luxury.

Cranchi E52 FLY — a superlative flybridge yacht for a special day

We had hired boats before in Croatia but the Cranchi E52 FLY was on a completely different level. At 16 metres with a full flybridge and a saloon large enough for eight people, this yacht genuinely blurs the line between a day charter and a luxury cruise. The flybridge is vast — comfortable seating for six, built-in sunbeds, and an unobstructed view that makes every passage between the islands feel cinematic. The finish throughout is exceptional: polished surfaces, quality upholstery, and a sound system that filled the deck without being intrusive. Our skipper navigated us flawlessly through a full day across the Elaphiti Islands and southern Dalmatian coast. One of the finest days on the water I have experienced anywhere in Europe.
