A great day in Montenegro

Arrived in Dubrovnik and unfortunately Mother Nature was not cooperating so we were not able to take our boat tour. But our tour operator, Frankie, offered us several options to consider (wine tour, money back, etc) and we settled on a day trip to Montenegro and boy what a great choice! Andrija picked us up in a comfortable, Mercedes minivan and proceeded to give us a tour of a lifetime. About 45 mins east of Dubrovnik, we crossed over into Montenegro (must bring your passports) and made stops in the cities of Perast (where we did get to take a short private boat tour to Our Lady of Rocks church (25 euros each, but worth it) and Kotor (sites, shopping and a beautiful Fort Worth exploring). We ended with a late lunch/early dinner at a restaurant that Andrija recommended called Konoba Catovica Mlini. One of the BEST dining experiences ever (and yes, I’m a true foodie). The only thing that topped the food was the impeccable service. And Andrija surprised me with a birthday song and dessert! Dropped back at our hotel by 6:30pm.
