A standout day in a wonderful country

Croatia was already my favourite country after visiting Split and the islands, but the private boat tour in Dubrovnik made it even better. The captain was delightful — a born storyteller who made the history of every island come alive. The swimming was extraordinary and the scenery as good as anywhere I have been. A truly standout experience in a country full of them.
