There is simply no better way to see the Croatian islands than from a private boat. We had a small group of six and every single person agreed afterwards it was the best thing we did on the entire trip. The captain knew exactly where to take us — away from the tour boat traffic and into the genuinely beautiful and quiet parts of the coast. Lunch was a revelation: a tiny restaurant on Lopud with incredible fresh fish and no other tourists in sight.
