Everything about Dubrovnik is gorgeous. This boat ride was End of September with warm weather, blue skies...we paid roughly $600 for the day. Just my husband and me. I would not do this again. It was ok, a three on a scale of 1 to 5. Here’s why....neither the fellow who picked us up, nor the skipper seemed especially happy to see us. Neither rude, just uninterested and preoccupied. While my husband was offered beer, there apparently was no wine. We were reminded several times to keep our feet off of you name it. So we felt like we needed to sit on the seat and keep our arms and legs still. We stopped at a beach and walked from the boat in the water, to the beach. Our boat seemed farther out than anyone else....it was cold and we had to swim back. It could have been very special. It just fell flat.

We really appreciate your feedback and we are not a company that boasts that it only receives 5 star reviews of our services on TripAdvisor because we think this is still unrealistic because who works sometimes makes mistakes. But there are several things to note about your review : The comment that the driver and skipper were not interested is at least strange. The driver literally drove you for 5 minutes, from the hotel to the speedboat, so you could rate that he was uninterested in you for the 5 minute drive through Dubrovnik. And as you state the same for the skipper who drove you, he showed you a panorama of the walls of the old city of Dubrovnik, from the sea and for almost 2 hours he was your guide, talking about the history, architecture, the old city harbor, the way the walls of Dubrovnik were built. As your husband was in hiking shoes, once but only once he was nicely warned not to walk on the speedboat with the same, but to take his shoes off on board. Your skipper has informed you that they will go to a sandy beach with no boat docks, so if you want to go there they will have to swim.You could choose to stay on board or simply tell your skipper to take you to another location. On arrival at the beach, the skipper found a place to anchor considering waves, wind and other boats on anchor. You probably don't understand that a boat is not the same as a car; skipper must (and especially if there are waves and wind) think about the space the anchored boat occupies when it turns around the anchor. There is a simple formula, and it is that area which boat will cover by turning around anchor is length of the boat and depth of the sea where is boat anchored. Your note that there was no wine on board is good, however nowhere on the pages of our trip (Private boat tours in Dubrovnik: Hidden Beauties of Elaphiti Islands) does it say that we offer wine on a speedboats. Therefore, they would ask you to read in the future what is included and what is not in the trip you purchased. We would also like to mention that the agency has given you the opportunity to change the date of the trip for free, informed you in due time about possible weather conditions at sea on the day of the excursion, offered you a drink (sparkling wine) and beer. However, thank you again for sharing your experience with us, our services and support in performing them. We are sorry to feel unimportant, but we always do our best to please our every guest. The fact is that we cannot please everyone, but it is sometimes not up to us, which we would like to state in this case.
