My wife and I had a wonderful time — skipper was incredible

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the boat from Hvar to Korčula with our skipper Toni! He was very personable, fun, and made us feel safe the entire way. We stopped for a swim in a gorgeous cove that we would never have found on our own — the water was the most transparent turquoise I've ever seen. Toni knew the channels between the islands perfectly and navigated the narrow Korčula passage with impressive ease. We arrived in Korčula feeling completely relaxed and already talking about booking the return journey the same way. The whole experience was awesome and we would definitely sign up again. Highly recommend to anyone travelling this stretch of coast.

Spectacular — worth every euro and more

My girlfriend and I are experienced travellers and we have been on boat tours and transfers across the Mediterranean. The private boat from Hvar to Korčula is among the finest experiences we have had in years of sea travel. The skipper was exceptional — articulate, professional, deeply knowledgeable about these waters and their history. He took us through a natural arch in a sea cliff on a small island between Hvar and Korčula that I have since been unable to find in any travel writing. The lunch stop on a small Pelješac fishing pier, with a dozen fresh oysters and a glass of local wine, was perfect. Korčula from the sea is magnificent. Already planning to go back, and will definitely book again.

An extraordinary crossing — the Adriatic at its finest

My partner and I are experienced sailors and we know the Adriatic reasonably well. The private boat transfer from Hvar to Korčula introduced us to corners of these waters that we had never navigated ourselves — sea caves, a tiny monastery island, a cove with water so clear and shallow we could see individual pebbles ten metres below the surface. Our skipper was clearly an expert mariner with deep local knowledge, and his pride in his home waters was infectious. He matched our pace perfectly — unhurried, exploratory, genuinely curious. We arrived in Korčula in the late afternoon, walked the old town walls in the golden light, and felt very fortunate to have chosen this way of travelling.

Perfect for families — flexible, friendly, beautiful

We were four adults and two children (ages eight and eleven) making the Hvar-to-Korčula crossing. The private boat was the right choice in every way for a family. The skipper was endlessly patient with the kids, letting them help hold the wheel on open stretches of water, and found a swimming stop in a bay that the children declared was the best swimming of the whole holiday (high praise — we had also been to Brač). The journey itself is beautiful and varied — open sea gives way to the sheltered Korčula channel, with the Pelješac mountains reflected in the still water. Korčula old town, approached from the sea, is one of the most dramatic arrivals anywhere in Europe. Brilliant day, brilliant skipper, brilliant memories. Already planning our return.

Wunderschöne Fahrt — absolut empfehlenswert

We had delayed our Hvar-to-Korčula transfer because of the weather and the company was very accommodating about rescheduling. When the day finally came, the Adriatic was glassy calm and the light was extraordinary. Our skipper took the longer route around the eastern tip of Hvar specifically to show us a sea arch formation that he said was one of the geological wonders of the Dalmatian coast. I agree. He then navigated through the Korčula channel — a narrow passage between the island and the Pelješac peninsula — which is simply beautiful. The whole journey felt like a private film set. We arrived in Korčula feeling we had somehow cheated the world by seeing so much beauty for so little money. Incredible.

Best travel experience of our Croatia holiday

I have to be honest — when my wife suggested the private boat from Hvar to Korčula rather than the ferry I thought it was an extravagance. I was completely wrong. The private charter cost us less than we had spent on dinner the previous night in Hvar and delivered one of the single finest travel experiences of our holiday. Our skipper was personable and knowledgeable, the boat was fast and spotless, and the route he chose between the islands was genuinely spectacular. We stopped for an hour at a beach that had perhaps a dozen people on it at most — extraordinary given the tourist crowds we had experienced in Hvar itself. Arrived in Korčula for the afternoon and evening, which is the perfect time — the town glows in the late light. Absolutely do this.

Frequently Asked Questions

What places will we visit?

The places you visit depend on the specific private boat tour, yacht route, weather conditions and the time available on the water. Each product page lists its own suggested itinerary and main highlights.

For Dubrovnik private boat and yacht experiences, routes may include islands, secluded bays, swimming stops, coastal towns, caves, Boka Bay, Montenegro coastline or other points of interest depending on the selected tour. Final routing is agreed before departure and may be adjusted by the captain for safety and sea conditions.

Can the private boat route be customized?

Yes. Most private boat tours and yacht experiences can be customized within the confirmed duration of the tour. You can usually adjust the balance between sightseeing, panorama cruising, swimming, lunch, time ashore and direct transfer time.

The final route always depends on yacht availability, weather, sea conditions, port rules and, for cross-border routes such as Dubrovnik to Montenegro, border formalities.

What private boat tour versions and combinations are available?

Private boat tours from Dubrovnik can be arranged in different versions depending on the selected product, yacht or speedboat class, destination, duration and preferred pace. Some routes are focused on swimming and hidden bays, others on coastal sightseeing, island hopping, lunch stops, transfers or cross-border yacht routes such as Dubrovnik to Montenegro.

Combinations are possible when they fit safely within the confirmed tour duration. The final plan is agreed before departure and may be adjusted according to weather, sea conditions, port rules and captain recommendation.

What is the price on this boat trip and do you need to prebook

Prices you can view under the options tab. You can choose to reserve now and pay later for this tour.

What is a difference between your boat classes (medium, high, executive, luxury)

At first, the difference is in the size of the boat, which represents how many people feel comfortable on such a boat to enjoy the sea. Then, if you are not already familiar, the ships have different equipment and designs.

Most medium-class boats are with outboard motors up to 6.5 meters long. Then come high-class boats with inboard engines, which is not necessarily the case. The biggest difference between medium and high-class boats is in the equipment and design. The high-class speedboat is mostly sporty and recommended for up to 4 people, while the medium class is recommended for 2 people.

Executive boats are 8-9 meters in size, newer years with outboard or inboard engines, but all have toilets. In the Executive class of boats, we are talking about luxury speedboats of recent years with a lot of equipment and an attractive appearance.

Motor yachts are 9 - 11 meters long, with a saloon, flybridge, kitchen, and stern for swimming. Executive motor yachts are 11 - 14 meters long, but more recently built.

Luxury yachts are a story by themselves, this is really about great luxury for people who demand such a service.

If you are not sure what kind of boat you want, consider that the captain of the boat is responsible for providing you with the best possible service. All our captains are professionals and will do everything for you to have a great time.

How much does a private boat or yacht tour from Dubrovnik cost?

The price depends on the selected route, tour duration, boat or yacht class, group size, season, fuel requirements and any optional services such as lunch, transfers, guides or special arrangements.

Shorter Dubrovnik boat tours usually have a different price structure than full-day private yacht routes or cross-border experiences such as Dubrovnik to Montenegro. For tailor-made routes, we confirm the final price in the personalized offer before booking.

Do we only cruise by boat, or can we also stop ashore?

Both options are possible on most private boat and yacht tours. Some guests prefer a relaxed panorama cruise with swimming stops, while others want time ashore for sightseeing, lunch or a short walk in a coastal town.

Stops ashore depend on the selected destination, local docking options, weather, sea conditions and the total tour duration. The captain and operations team will help shape a realistic route for the time available.

How many guests are joining you on the boat?

All our boat tours are private, without joined travellers. We can accommodate the number of guests permitted by the specific boat's licence, so please tell us your group size and we will recommend the best option.
