Unforgettable journey through Croatian islands

My family was travelling from Hvar to Korčula and I had been dreading the connecting ferries. A friend recommended the private boat charter and I cannot thank him enough. Our skipper was waiting for us at the Hvar town harbour with cold water and juice, helped stow our luggage below deck, and within twenty minutes we were out in open water with the morning sun on the sea. The route he took followed the southern coast of Hvar island before crossing to Korčula through the Pelješac channel — one of the most scenically dramatic sea passages in the Adriatic. We stopped for a swim at a beach on a small island that had no name on any map I could find. Arrived in Korčula feeling completely relaxed. Extraordinary value for a completely private experience.
